It’s our pleasure to help bring the work of talented young people to the attention of the community, and we hope you’ll visit an exhibit in the Dunn Building of the creative work from this year’s VIZZI competition. The top three entries in each of eleven categories are on view for visitors to the upper level county office spaces. The work includes graphic arts, printing and ad designs, photography, videography, and designs for the web. The winning entries were chosen from nearly 150 submissions from high school students throughout the Eastern Panhandle, and the artists received their awards May 3 at a ceremony at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg.
The James Rumsey Technical Institute coordinated the VIZZI awards for a fifth year. This year the Berkeley Arts Council provided assistance to develop and install the exhibit, with the cooperation of the Berkeley County Commission.
