Deadline Extended: Eastern West Virginia Juried Art Exhibit

The deadline for submission for the Eastern West Virginia juried art exhibit has been extended from August 5 to August 12, 2013. Entries must be postmarked by that date. If it’s more convenient, entries can be dropped off Berkeley Art Works gallery at 116 North Queen Street in Martinsburg during our regular hours – Thu 12-5, Fri 12-8, Sat 12-5 and Sun 12-3.

The exhibit, sponsored by the Berkeley Arts Council, will be be displayed in the Berkeley Art Works Gallery, 116 North Queen Street in Martinsburg. The exhibit will be on display September 6-29. There will be an opening reception on on Saturday, September 7 from 5-8pm.

The exhibit is open to artists in all media who reside in one of the eight counties that compose the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Those counties are Berkeley, Jefferson, Morgan, Hampshire, Hardy, Grant, Mineral, and Pendleton. The theme for the exhibit is open.

The Juror for the exhibit is Katherine Burns, owner of the Bridge Gallery in Shepherdstown, WV. Ms Burns is an accomplished gallerist and art consultant.

Entries must be original works of art that have been completed within the last three (3) years. The deadline for submission is August 12, 2013.
