Last night the Berkeley Art Works hosted the opening reception for the “Youthful Visions”, an exhibit of photographs from the photography program at the Martinsburg Boys and Girls Club. The turnout was excellent and the photography was great.

The student photographers had the exciting experience of seeing their work displayed in a nice gallery environment and they received kudos from their families, friends and the other attendees to the reception.
Rip Smith, who organized the exhibit for the Berkeley Art Works said, “I’m a photographer and I look at photographs critically. I have to say that there is not a bad image in this entire body of work. We are very glad we could organize this exhibit because this work deserves to be shown in a nice gallery environment. We in the arts community should do all we can to support talented young artists like these.”
