Several Saturday workshops are scheduled in coming weeks at the Berkeley Art Works, 116 North Queen Street in Martinsburg.
On October 19 from 1-4pm Mary Alice Bowers will present “Structure and Expression in Watercolor Painting”. The workshop will cover techniques to achieve soft flower paintings. Some painting experience advised but not required.
On October 26 from 1-4pm Janie Multrup will present “Techniques of Close-up Photography.” The 3 hour workshop will review the do’s and don’t of close up photography. Topics will include, lighting, understanding the close up capabilities of your camera and the tools you need to get a successful shot.
On November 16 from 12:30-4:30 Judith Becker will present “Tips and Techniques with Watercolor Pencils.” Join experienced teacher Judith Becker for an opportunity to try out painting and creating with watercolor pencils. Workshop participants will be able to try a variety of techniques to create beautiful works of art.
