Structure and Expression for Flowers in Watercolor

Space is still available for this workshop taught by watercolor artist Mary Alice Bowers.
This workshop will cover techniques to achieve soft flower paintings. Some painting experience advised but not required.
First Period: Elements and Principles of Design
Second Period: Composition: Identify focal point, color harmony. Flower design.
Third Period: Technique: Spraying, pull, float, spattering, scratching out, using masking fluid, salt, plastic wrap, lifting; Dry brush, layering, spraying, lost edges, soft edges; Mixing greys
Supplies: Bring paper of choice, paints: cobalt, Aurelian yellow, permanent rose, or any transparent primary.
