The Berkeley Arts Council celebrates Youth Art Month with an exhibit of artwork by students from all five of the Berkeley County middle schools plus a selection of artwork from middle school level home school students.
The student artwork will be displayed in the Berkeley Art Works special exhibit gallery at 116 North Queen Street in Martinsburg from March 13 through March 30. There will be a reception for the students and their families on Saturday, March 15 from 4-6pm at the gallery. Come and congratulate the young artists and see the creativity from the up and coming generation.
The Berkeley Art Works, a project of the Berkeley Arts Council, is the realization of the long-held dream of the arts community in Martinsburg and Berkeley County West Virginia: to have a community-based arts facility that supports local and regional artists, brings quality arts experiences for the members of the public, and provides a wide range of arts learning experiences for local residents, artists, and artisans. The Berkeley Arts Council is on the Web at http://www.berkeleyartswv.org.
