Berkeley Arts Council November Classes Open for Registration

The Berkeley Arts Council’s November classes are open for registration.

Starting November 10, Judith Becker will offer “Beginning Watercolor Pencil – Creating Holiday Cards.” This class presents the pleasant watercolor painting process of using watercolor pencils instead of traditional watercolor painting techniques to create beautiful holiday cards. Eastern WV Exhibit Awards

The Berkeley Arts Council announced the award winners in the Fourth Annual Eastern West Virginia Juried Exhibit at the reception on Friday, October 14. The exhibit is on display at the Berkeley Art Works Gallery, 116 North Queen Street in Martinsburg through – November 5, 2016. Gallery hours are Wed-Thu 11-5, Fri 11-8, Sat 11-4. Continue reading

Exhibit of Judith Becker Original Paintings at the Berkeley Art Works

Berkeley Arts Council Teaching Artist presents a selection of original watercolor, color pencil, and mixed media works for display in the at the Berkeley Art Works, 116 North Queen Street in Martinsburg. This will be a unique opportunity to see the range of work, much of which has not been exhibited previously in Martinsburg.

The exhibit is on display now through November 5 in the Back Space Gallery. Gallery hours are Wed-Thu 11-5, Fri 11-8, and Sat 11-4.

The Berkeley Art Works, a project of the Berkeley Arts Council, is the realization of the long-held dream of the arts community in Martinsburg and Berkeley County West Virginia: to have a community-based arts facility that supports local and regional artists, brings quality arts experiences for the members of the public, and provides a wide range of arts learning experiences for local residents, artists, and artisans. Fourth Annual Eastern West Virginia Juried Exhibit Now Open at the Berkeley Art Works

Berkeley Arts Council opens the Fourth Annual Eastern West Virginia Juried Exhibit now on display at the Berkeley Art Works Gallery, 116 North Queen Street in Martinsburg. The exhibition will be on display October 5 – November 5, 2016. A reception will be held on Friday, October 14 from 5-7pm. Gallery hours are Wed-Thu 11-5, Fri 11-8, Sat 11-4.

The exhibit presents work by artists in all media who reside in one of the eight counties that compose what is known as the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.
