Berkeley Arts Council Announces Fall Classes

The Berkeley Arts Council has announced its schedule of fall classes to be offered at the Berkeley Art Works, 116 North Queen Street in Martinsburg. Teaching artist Judith Becker and professional photographer David Rehor will team up to provide a varied program of instruction in painting, drawing, and photography.

Becker’s classes include “Spritzilism”, Color Theory, and Drawing. Also included are classes in color pencil and watercolor for beginners, as well as a “Continuing Art Studio” for intermediate and advance artists.

Rehor provides in-depth instruction on the workings of digital cameras with “Taking Control of Your Digital Camera” Saturdays in September and November and during the fall color season in October he will take students into the field for “Digital Field Photography”.

All of these classes run 4 weeks and the tuition is $90. Pre-registration is required. Full details and online registration is available at berkeleyartswv.org/instruction/.

Call for Artists: “Critters”

The Berkeley Arts Council announces a call for artists for “Critters”, a juried exhibit of artwork depicting all varieties of animals, wild or domestic.
