Art Instruction Program Announces New Classes at the Berkeley Art Works

The Berkeley Arts Council invites neighbors from teens to seniors to rediscover the satisfaction of creating with your hands, eyes and imagination. Learn media and techniques or use those you may know, or use materials that catch your fancy. The varied programs range from basic techniques to methods that build skills with materials and design concepts.

Adding to an ongoing schedule taught by Judith Becker, new teaching artists offer an expanded schedule for Spring. Lori Thompson offers Visual Journaling and Beginning Book Making. Robert Howard teaches Beginning Portraiture and Expressions in Mixed Media. Victoria Pendragon will teach The Art of Collage. Continue reading
