Extended Deadline August 17, 2020

The Berkeley Arts Council in Martinsburg, West Virginia announces the Eighth Annual Eastern West Virginia Juried Exhibit, to be displayed in the Berkeley Art Works Gallery, 116 North Queen Street in Martinsburg, WV. The exhibition will be on display Saturday September 5 – October 10, 2020.

Eligibility

The exhibit is open to artists in all media who reside in one of the eight counties that compose what is known as the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Those counties are Berkeley, Jefferson, Morgan, Hampshire, Hardy, Grant, Mineral, and Pendleton.

Theme

The theme for the exhibit is open.

Juror

The Juror for the exhibit is Evan Boggess, Director of the Phaze 2 Gallery at Shepherd University.

Entry Fee

The entry fee for one or two works is $25. Additional works may be submitted for a fee of $10 for each additional work up to a total of four works.

Awards

The projected prize fund for the exhibit is $350. Additional prizes will be determined by the number of entries.

Notification

The entry notification announcing the juror’s selections will be sent by email and accepted artists will also be listed on our web site, http://www.berkeleyartswv.org, on or about August 20, 2020.

For hand delivered work, The Berkeley Art Works will be open to receive artwork Thu (Aug 27) 11-1 and Fri (Aug 28) 11-1, and Sat (Aug 29) 11-3. If you must ship work, please contact us for instructions.

Detailed delivery instructions and schedules will be provided when the accepted artists are announced but work must arrive by August 29, 2020.
