Art and Earth Exhibit: Juror’s Selections Announced

Congratulations to the selected artists in the 12th Annual Art and Earth Juried Exhibit!

The Juror, Alison Helm, Director of the School of Art and Design at West Virginia University, selected 37 works by 32 artists out of 153 submitted pieces from 66 artists submitted from 21 states and Canada.

The exhibit will open on April 6 in the Berkeley Art Works Gallery, 116 North Queen Street in Martinsburg, WV. Plans for a reception and awards presentation will be announced.

Berkeley Arts Council Announces City National Bank Awards Sponsorship

“Through our exhibits, we are able to create opportunities for artists and introduce the community to a variety of work and artistic media.  Awards are given to artists selected by our jurors.  This elevates the importance of our exhibits and brings additional recognition to the work of participating artists.  We are thankful to have the support of City National Bank.  Their sponsorship helps us continue to do this important work,” says exhibits manager Annette Verna.

The Berkeley Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) non‐profit organization incorporated in West Virginia working to ensure that Berkeley County has a vibrant, vital arts environment by promoting awareness, understanding and appreciation of the literary, visual and performing arts in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.  The Berkeley Arts Council supports local and regional artists, brings quality arts experiences to the community, and provides a wide range of arts learning experiences for local residents, artists and artisans.
