All artists who are members of – or who join – the Berkeley Arts Council are invited to exhibit one or two art works in the Berkeley Art Works gallery, February 22 through April 1, 2023.
The exhibit is not juried. Any current member (2023) of the Berkeley Arts Council may participate in the exhibit. Artists who are not current members may join or renew online or at the gallery when the artwork is delivered for the exhibit. There is no entry fee other than membership dues. Participation in the exhibit is a benefit of membership.
To participate, deliver one or two art works to the Berkeley Art Works, 116 North Queen Street in Martinsburg during regular hours on Wednesday February 15 (11am-5pm), Thursday, February 16 (11am-5pm), Friday, February 17 (11am-5pm), or Saturday, February 18 (11am-4pm).
Although the exhibit is not juried, all work must be properly framed or otherwise well presented for display. Framed work must be wired for hanging. Three-dimensional fine art and fine crafts are welcome. An identification card or tag must be attached to each piece.
By submitting artwork for the exhibit you agree that The Berkeley Arts Council will retain a 30% commission on all sales and although the Berkeley Arts Council will take reasonable measures to ensure the safety of theentries in the gallery, the BAC is not responsible for loss of or damage to the artwork, and the artist is responsible for his/her own insurance if desired. If for sale, the tag must indicate the price of the work.

The 13th Annual Art and Earth Exhibit
is open for entries!
The Berkeley Arts Council (BAC) announces the 13th Annual Art & Earth Juried Art Exhibit. The exhibit will be on display from Wednesday April 5 to Saturday May 13, 2023 at the Berkeley Art Works, 116 North Queen Street, Martinsburg, WV.
Description: The exhibit has the theme ‘Art and Earth: My Art – My World’. Entries should reflect the artist’s view of nature, the environment, or reflect an Earth Day related theme.
Eligibility: The exhibit is open to all visual artists throughout the continental United States, over the age of 18, working in any fine art or fine craft medium or technique, in 2- or 3-dimensions, representational, abstract, or non-representational. Entries must be original works of art that have been completed within the last three (3) years, and have not been exhibited previously at the Berkeley Art Works.
