Supporting our member artists is a key goal of the Berkeley Arts Council. Each year—and sometimes twice a year–we offer opportunities to exhibit your work in our gallery. This summer, we will feature photography, paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, jewelry, carvings and other compositions. The gallery will be dedicated to member work from June 25 through August 31.
Participants should bring their pieces to the Art Works during one of the following times: Tuesday, June 17, from 7 to 9 pm (during the annual meeting) Thursday or Friday (June 19 -20) from 11 am to 5 pm (regular hours) Saturday or Sunday (June 21-22) from 11 am to 4 pm (regular hours).
Pieces should be framed or otherwise mounted for display, and with proper hanging attachments. A label with artist name, title, medium and sale price (if applicable) must be attached to the back or bottom of each piece. BAC retains 30% of sale.
