Call for Artists: 2014 EWV Juried Exhibit

The Berkeley Arts Council in Martinsburg, West Virginia announces the Second Annual Eastern West Virginia Juried Exhibit, to be displayed in the Berkeley Art Works Gallery, 116 North Queen Street in Martinsburg. The exhibition will be on display October 2 – 26 with a reception on Saturday, October 4 from 5-7pm.

The exhibit is open to artists in all media who reside in one of the eight counties that compose what is known as the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Those counties are Berkeley, Jefferson, Morgan, Hampshire, Hardy, Grant, Mineral, and Pendleton. (Please pass this on to any artists you know who live in the 8 counties.) The theme for the exhibit is open.

The Juror for the 2014 exhibit is Diane Sibbison, Exhibition Manager with the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center in Frederick, Maryland.

The Berkeley Art Works, a project of the Berkeley Arts Council, is the realization of the long-held dream of the arts community in Martinsburg and Berkeley County West Virginia: to have a community-based arts facility that supports local and regional artists, brings quality arts experiences for the members of the public, and provides a wide range of arts learning experiences for local residents, artists, and artisans.
